These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the World Guesser website and game, operated by World Guess ("we", "us", or "our"), available at https://www.world-guess.com. By accessing or using World Guesser, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Description of Service

World Guesser is a free-to-play geography game in which users watch walking videos from cities around the world and attempt to identify the city's location on an interactive map. The service includes solo gameplay, real-time multiplayer rooms, and editorial content including travel guides and city pages. The service is provided for entertainment and educational purposes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use World Guesser. By using the service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use World Guesser only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended features to gain an unfair advantage in gameplay
• Use automated tools, bots, scripts, or any non-human method to interact with the game or its systems
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or disable any part of the service, including servers, networks, or infrastructure
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network connected to the service
• Engage in any activity that could damage, overburden, or impair the service or the experience of other users

4. Intellectual Property

All content on World Guesser — including but not limited to the game interface, editorial text, city guides, travel stories, graphics, logos, and code — is the property of World Guess or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Walking videos used in gameplay are sourced from third-party creators under their respective licenses. Lead and inline photography is sourced from Unsplash contributors under the Unsplash License. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this site without express written permission.

5. Multiplayer and User-Generated Content

World Guesser offers real-time multiplayer gameplay via shared room codes. In multiplayer mode, you may choose a display name visible to other players in the same room. You are responsible for the display name you choose. We reserve the right to take action against accounts or sessions that use display names that are offensive, harmful, or in violation of these Terms. We do not store display names on our servers after a session ends.

6. Third-Party Services and Advertising

World Guesser may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and may use Google Analytics for usage measurement. These third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. By using World Guesser, you acknowledge that these services may collect usage data as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or the practices of third-party service providers.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

World Guesser is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content, including city information, geographic data, or editorial guides.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, World Guess shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, as the service is free, shall be zero).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless World Guess and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
